When I first got into acting was the first time I also became interested in teaching and directing. I have been coaching improvisation and theater since I was in high school myself (my senior year my drama teacher gave me one day to teach all his classes). I help students find their voice to make authentic choices in both scripted material or improvisation. Lessons are fun, engaging, and work to help students remember the sense of play that imbues scenes with realistic and grounded work that yields fun and surprising choices.
If you are a teacher, find my Teaching Artist resume below and contact me to discuss ways we can collaborate with your lessons plans, and use Theater, Improvisation, and Performance as teaching tools to help boost your students communication skills, public speaking ability, and teamwork.
I also coach Improvisation and Acting and audition prep. I am on staff at The Annoyance Theatre, where I teach improvisation. Below are some links to some sites where I talk more about that. I look forward to working with you!

"Bruce is the best improv teacher I've had yet. He has incredible insight and always gives pinpoint advice." "Bruce was outstanding. He was clear, gave great feedback/side coaching and clearly has a passion for improv and performance. It was also apparent he cared for his students and wanted to hear what they said.
