BRUCE PHILLIPS is an actor and improviser in Chicago. Previous credits include: The Boy Scout Musical, Burlesque is More, and Ask Your Doctor. His theater work features performances in X (Clark/Cole u/s, Sideshow Theatre Company), Münsterspiel (John, The Plagiarists), and Anna Karenina (Karenin, Lifeline Theater). Bruce is a Jeff Award winner for his robot design in Heddatron for Sideshow Theatre (artistic associate) at the Steppenwolf Garage and has performed and directed around the world for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (Hairspray, Oasis of the Seas). He currently performs with ComedySportz Chicago and Malarkey Theater, is on the faculty staff teaching Advanced Improv at The Annoyance Theatre, and directs the ongoing show Trigger Happy. He performs weekly with Hitch*Cocktails at The Annoyance Theatre and Clued In at Second City with High Stakes Productions. Bruce has toured with Second City Theatricals aboard the Norwegian Dawn and was also the understudy for Second City's 110th, 111th, and 112th Mainstage revues and Second City's e.t.c. theater production Chaos Theory of Everything.
